The Alterskate Underground

My friend Jeremie stopped by with the intent to get me out of the house and on my motorcycle. Thats his rocket in the back. I am always a showoff so I decided to break out the Alterskate. Jeremie decided to give it a try. It took him a few minutes, as it does everyone, but he is starting to get the hang of it.

I think the learning curve of streetboarding is what has kept it from hitting the mainstream. It takes a little while to get used to the motion, although once a person gets it, they usually say it is exactly like snowboarding or surfing. The most important thing is to never give up on it. We learned how to swim, and then ride a bike. I believe Alterskating is not much different than learning either of those.

For those of you that know me, that is not me in the pic, although everyone who sees this says it is. Jeremie and I look alike in some ways. When we worked together selling Sprint phones, people would refer to him as my "brother". :)
